I'm thinking about washing my tC sometime soon and I've been wondering, won't spraying down the entire wheel including the brakes behind the rims do something bad to it at all?

No, washing the wheels and such down is no problem.

Make sure the brakes are cool before spraying them down with water. I have seen where the rotors can warp if not allowed to cool down. Let the engine bay cool down as well!
