Here is the dilemma.... Got the enkeis put on the other day... 18x8 40mm offset with a 75mm center bore... bought adapters to take the 75 down to 60.1 like our hubs have..... The wheels wobbled like a wave effect.... Off center so to speak.... so we took the rings off and now no wobble.... Why would this have happened?? the wheels are enkei rp03 by the way
Wrong size ring or it wasn't set all the way into the wheel.

Is it bad to drive without them?? Going to the quarter mile Saturday don't want any problems
The purpose of the ring is to center the wheel around the hub. Torquing your lugs down on a wheel not perfectly centered will cause vibration. In the short term I wouldn't call it dangerous. It's not something I would leave like that either. Try with a different set of rings. Maybe you got some that were mis-marked.
