So the new RS xB got Hot Lava paint. This is the second time that the xb RS has had Hot Lava as a paint color. The xD has also had Hot Lava as a paint color. How come the tC has never had that option. It is probably the best color that Scion has ever had and we can't get it. No fair. I vote we try to make Hot Lava a permanent color for tCs. Who's with me?

 

Or we can let them make it the RS1 FR-S color. that would work for me. I agree the Hot Lava color is very nice and would look great on the tC.

 

I think that's an awful idea. Its a nice colour, but putting it on every RS is not creative, its the complete opposite. Its like saying "Scion: Express yourself (buy orange)."

I say they start looking into other colour pallets and defining unique colours for RS models. Hot Lava has been done, move on. Its not unique anymore when the xB has it, the xD had it, the iQ has it...etc, etc.

with HOT LAVA being a STOCK color for the iq i believe its time we put it to bed.....

 

Although red would be my first color pick for any car, hot lava would turn out to be arrest me red for me.

 

I do agree that Toyota/scion need special colors that are for the RS as well. I like a few of the ones that have come out but With the FR-S coming out next year I hope they pull a good color out of there vault or something. The Hot lava is nice but it needs to be retired. I'll give scion credit for the RS7 tc and the Yellow. The new XB and Xd I think was a last minute effort to get something out. And with only 800 Xd's been made that will be the rarest RS model to date.
