Hi guys:

My xB RS2 is coming in on 15Apr. Wondering if I should get the dealer installed sunroof. Has any one had one put in by the dealer? Any problems?

The dealer has qouted around a $1,000.00

dealers are going to charge WAY more then you would pay if you went and got it done yourself

for example

Websto 524 panoramic roof .. dealer wanted 1700 .. i went to the SAME PLACE that the dealer would have had it done and i paid 1395 installed

no other pics at the moment .. i just took that one real quick

the 524 is a fairly new model .. it came out in late 2004 if i remember correctly

its the biggest sunroof on the market today aside from the webasto 400 (sliding rag top)

Thats what I like about it , it reminded me of the Rag Top in size , but Much cleaner this way with the VIEW - Even Closed . And thats a lot for me to say , Because I LOVE the 400 RAG !!
