i purchased a turbonetics kit for an 05 to 06 and had to change piping also get a computer harness and the aem fic. when installing this thing do i need someone with scion tc knowledge or can someone installing the turbo know how to mess with this? last thing i want is someone that dosent know about the aem playing with my car and turbo and me blowing up.


anyone in the south florida area mechanic- installer- tunmer that you can recommend?

 

best suggestion is find a reputible shop with a good tuner. altho it may cost u around $500 on average, but at least itll be legit. u can still install the kit and run it off of the stock injectors, just dont exceed anymore than 5 psi. if u do, i strongly suggest u keep it out of boost until u get it tuned professionally.

 

the turbo netics turbo is far too big to run 5psi untuned my suggestion to you is go see mike elevationtc (mtuned) he does great installs and tunes best in fl for scions

also if u cant find it in your hear to visit him i suggest a good reputable shop to install the turbo kit and injectors but dont have them tune oyur ar only someone who knows the tc should tune the car

 

i might just do that and drive up to orlando for mikes tune if he is that good
