Need info/suggestions with gauges....
Hello scion peeps !
I am doing something with my other car and i'm looking into some gauges. Been a little out of the loop from boosted vehicles since my tC is built and in NY and i'm in WA i haven't really updated my knowledge.
Anyway, here is what i am looking at.
I want a boost gauge and AFR at the minimum.
What do you guys think about this combo ?
Gauges:
1) Boost

2) Fuel pressure or oil pressure ? What do you think is MORE important ?

Other few questions are:
1) Have ANYONE used prosport gauges ?
I have a prosport oil pressure gauge in my turbo scion and as far as i know it works pretty reliably.
Any other experiences with their boost gauges ?

P.S. The vechile is getting a form of FI. It does not require an oil pan to be tapped, that is why i am not sure if oil pressure gauge is needed or factory gauge on the cluster will do just fine ?

Well the thing is i am undecided if i need oil pressure or not. Oil pan will not be tapped. The FI unit has its own oil supply meaning it is a self lubricating unit.
So its really weird that I seriously was just talking about these a couple hours ago, than saw this post, are you getting an aerocharger? Theres supposedly someone in OKC running one on a civic making around 500whp and the spool and flow characteristics are insane. However Ive heard theyre pretty rediculously expensive.
My other car is not a civic, lol.. but it's definately some kind of a charger !
I will reveal it once everything is installed and tuned in few weeks.. will be placing my order on monday since no point in ordering now before the weekend.

Personally I wouldn't run prosport but that's just me. You get what you pay for. I have been running defi's and I will not ever use anything else.

yeah been busy with work for the most part ! My unit is preparing for Afghanistan so we are training all the time here and there...
And i'm getting out about 2 month before they deploy lol !
