After almost 2 years, i sold my tC and got a 2005 XRS.

However I just realize, Corolla forum community is not as broad as tCs. I can't find parts anywhere, really have to buy them new. it sucks.

There are some days when I miss my '04 Matrix XRS, 6-spd and the 180hp of the 2zzge was nice too. FR-S is next.

 

funny thing is that carmax offers only $6000, the best offer was through a dealership that offers $7000.

Carmax isn't there for you to get a good deal selling. If you have any sort of aftermarket anything they take off a lot. They want to buy nice cars in completely stock form. Any time you goto trade in something, you have to realize that dealership is going to put money in labor to make it look better then it is. Plus they want to make money on the trade. If you sell it outright you cut out the middle man and pocket the profit.
