Default 2011/12 OEM Rear Bumper Cover

A guy and his wife bumped into my 2011 Magnetic Gray Metallic (paint code 1G3) TC at the mall. I was wondering if Toyota offers a OEM bumper cover already painted as a replacement part? Rather do that than have a body shop paint a primed part but don't know if Toyota offers OE color replacement parts.

you should've reported it to their insurance. The best place to get a new cover is www.toyotapartsoverstock.com and you're going to have to go through a paint shop. $300 for the cover and $200 for paint

Paint is one of the things I'd leave to the dealership so try to find a good deal on an OEM bumper cover and have the dealership paint it. I assume you have the other party's information for this?

Default Thanks

OEM Bumper Cover (#5215921913) is $204.51 (+shipping). Paint will be ~$250.

My deductible is $500 so I'll leave it to the insurance company to quote out the repair which will likely be ~$800 (minus deductible) means my net out of pocket will be a couple of hundred.

Why are you paying if its their fault?

Unless the dealer has a body shop on site they're going to send it out to be painted anyway.

If you're not at-fault won't your insurance company get the deductible from the other guy's insurance?

I actually got rearended today on the way home from work. It was storming out and some chick ran right into the back of me and dented / scratched the side of my rear bumper.

As everyone has said, I'm not sure why you're paying if she's at fault. I know I'm sure as heck not paying for that chick who ran into me
