Changing color of rim stripe...
Hello, quick post here before I leave work.
I have black rims with a red outer stripe on them, they look similar to the photo below.
Well, now 3 other kids in my town have black/red stripe rims. How can I change the color of the red? Can I get them powder coated. or can I paint them myself to a different color with out ruining them?
The stripe is indented, it is not flush with the rest of the rim.

Thanks folks.

There is a paint tool for this. It's like a syringe full of paint with a ballpoint wheel on the end, and an adjustable guide to keep it aligned with the edge of the wheel. The device is called a Beugler. Google it, lots of places sell them. They aren't cheap, but once you own one, you can charge those neighbor kids to paint match their stripes to their cars.
