Default Coilovers, springs, shocks GAH! i need help

OK so I am coming forward now and saying that i know nothing about suspension and very little about cars in general... but I wanna
a) soften my cars ride
b) lower it
and c) money is not an issue right now...

so for this would i want like the Tein Coilovers, or like TRD shocks with springs... i just need some advice.

Its my understanding that the TRD springs will lower about 1.2 inches and you really shouldn't need new shocks to go with them, but if you're going to do one mod you might as well get both done.

your not gunna soften the cars ride any more than it is now. with lowering springs or coilovers you get an increased spring rate which will make the ride harsher. if your looking for a close to factory soft ride then get the TRD products. if you want a more aggressive drop at the expense of ride comfort then look into the other aftermarket companies. i just bought the tein ss coilovers which are the best offered right now performance wise. but im looking for improved handling...not ride comfort.

TRD is definetly gonna be the most comfortable suspension upgrade... but as long as you don't get coilovers it won't be too bad with any springs...

One could argue that a tC riding on the TRD kit feels better than one on the "stock" equipment-- and that one would be me. I've lowered a lot of cars on a lot of products, and the TRD kit on the tC is one of the best. Nice drop that isn't so aggressive as to look "attention grabbingly obvious", very smooth ride with crisper handling.

Very, very, very highly recommended.
