Default Replacing scuba

Hey guys I recently installed a strup exhaust it sounds good but I would like to have it a little louder... What can I replace my scuba with for a better louder sound? Or is this not a good idea I'm looking to go to my local muffler shop to have it installed.

Well I spoke to my local muffler shop I get all my exhaust work done at and he recommended we completely eliminate the scuba and run a straight pipe with the Strup Exhaust and see how it sounds and if its too loud then adding a glasspack... what do you guys think?

The cherry bomb will give you more rasp. I replaced just the scuba with the cherry bomb and I cant stand that rice burner fart can sound.. It opens the top end up quite a bit. didnt notice low end torque loss, maybe some in the mid range but high revs is where you notice it breathing. Its a 2 inch in and 2 1/4 out so you have to have a muffle shop (or yourself) weld it but keep that scuba cause the cats in there as well.. by the time you need to smog it, the laws are changing so drastically that they will just plug a scanner into your car to smog it. no more dyno testing.. illegal smogs will be no longer needed.. god bless the federal government and their undistinguishable ways

If you want a deep sounding exhaust change the resonator out for a Magnaflow round muffler. I have an 18" one in my scion and it sounds great especially under acceleration. I also have a Thrush welded muffler going into a center exhaust, but I think it would sound great with a stock muffler setup regardless.

The scuba delete is $179 for the single piece?

The fact that it bolts right is would be great option for just about everyone who is looking to replace the scuba, no welding required!!
