Amber and Blue interior?
Hey guys. Tried to search for this, but what would the interior look like with the amber hvac controls and gauges, and blue LEDs under dash and and the front seats? Or would another color look better with the amber? I don't really wanna do a gauge and hvac swap.
So, does the blue and amber look good together? I mean, I would love to change my HVAC and gauges to blue, but no one around here does it that I know of and it seems like a hassle. But the under dash and under the seats seems pretty easy, so I figured I could do those, but I'm not paying over a hundred dollars to toyota for their amber kit (which I've heard sucks). So I was just gonna do a different color. But thanks for the help guys.
I will post a pic tonight of the Pioneer Premium radio and Amber HVAC, doesn't look bad at all. I'm having Garage1217 rework both next month.
I've installed both 5k white and Blue LED strips in the footwells and under the seats. The 5K white are tied into the dome light circuit along with door handle LEDs to trigger on with the remote unlock. My blue leds tie into cubby light which turn on with the parking lights. Looks pretty slick at night!! VLEDS.com has some good deal on LED strips, you will just need to extend the wires before installation.

It's best to buy these LEDS, super bright!! and some resistors
Also Sparks Toyota has the lock covers for $5 new if you want to prep.
One word of advice on the door handle lighting, use pretty thin wire and place the resistor inline about 6" from the LED
