Just debating the sprung / solid,
the sprung clutches are heaver than oem apparently and with the larger rotational mass put more stress on the synchs, I DD mine also just wouldn't mind the heavy clutch for longer syncro life

I've had the TRD setup in my '08 xB since the day I purchased the car and am needing to replace it...after 73,645.I am very happy with the TRD setup. Pedal feel is just a tad more stiff than stock but is very DD friendly. Even though sprung hubs are heavier than solid setups, they just make a DD more tolerable.
