Helpful hint:

Use a diode to isolate the door trigger hooked to the alarm.

If not, the dash door open indicator light to stay on (kinda dim) even with the door closed.

A diode must be used.

 

Depends on the alarm. I use the accele alarms and a diodeis needed. I have but in a falcon brand, and no diode was needed. But for the most part use the diode and save a head ache. Always remember stripe on diode towards ground. Bill
