Yesss...bought some carbon fiber and fabricated some eyelids

Oh and had plenty of carbon fiber left, so I decided to make a fuel lid cover

i have two thoughts...
1. this belongs in drag co. i'll move it..
2. you nned to do some thing about the light coming through the side of the headlight...(pic #2 shows this bad...)

you need to move them over a lil bit , unless you did that on purpose. If so then leave it , i dont like it like that though .. it would be better if ya moved them over a lil

Yeah I noticed that too when I put them on. I originally had a problem because the template I made went to the contour lines of the headlight. I didn't want to move it over too much because it would be sticking out. I was thinking I could use some black vinyl to cover up that part of the headlight

oh and btw the carbon fiber I bought was the Hayame stuff, high quality. I got it at Super Autobacs in Stanton off the 22.

i went there once last year...i almost fainted when i walked in...me and my friends stayed on the second floor and watched an entire video they had on...lol

I fixed the eyelids with some black vinyl...they look a lot better thanks guys

I'm thinking about making more carbon fiber eyelids and selling 'em.

I'm not sure if it's worth it, what do you guys think?

If so, how much would you pay for them?

make it so the CF wraps around the headlight to block the light from coming thru

I was thinking about that, but I need to find a way to heat it so it'll bend more :-/
