Does there exist a head to head, multiple pass, close to accurate as can be, end result on dynos for the abailable Air intakes (CAI and short ram)

I have read all the threads and here hearsay about htem, but has anyone taken the time to do a head-to-head independent analysis.

I bought a K&N..figured if it didnt give me 1hp, I at least would I would never have to buy another air filter for the car...so I would break even after about 120k miles of oil changes.

However, I did see a dyno showing 6whp increase with no other mods and the butt-dyno definately gives it a thumbs up
