just curious if anyone has installed a bigger brake kit on their TC. IF so, what options are out there and what kind of price we talking. Stock brakes with 18" wheels just looks a little funny.

 

stoptech makes them... I've seen rotoras make them too.

A friend of mine is checking out on a TRD BBK. Wilwood hasn't come out with anything yet, and I don't think they will either... Best bet is Stoptech or TRD if they will...

 

Malina should have her kit here by the end of the month, I'll post some pics of the install.

Btw we got the rotora BBK and matching rear rotors.

 

SOOOO keep us posted! Let us know if the kit sqeeches when braking etc... and most importantly pics!

where did you get them?

 

big brake kit =

calipers which are almost all the same but in size and amount of pistons

rotors which ar eteh disks, all celica GTS models use the same as the TC,

pads, pads are appliciable due to the calipers

brake lines, made for the tC, i dunt think other brake lines will work on the tC.

why dont you part the brake kit and buy them separately, its a lil cheaper i think... but i no expert

 

actually scion told me that they are not the same. There are slight diff. in the rotors... Otherwise I would of boughten this:
