Default Tire Question

My boyfriend has some 175 65 14 Studded tires.

I want to use them for my XA.
I used a tire calculator and his tires have a 72.1 circumference, mine are 74.6. The calculator said
Speedometer reading with non-stock tires is 3.3% too fast when your speedometer reads 60 mph you are actually traveling 58 mph.

What do you think, will they work?

I don't believe they will work, because stock tires are 15"
so you have an issue right there.

But why would you want studded tires at all?

I am glad that you at least did the calculations for how far
the difference is between your stock tires and the ones you
were considering. Not many people understand that different
size tires will effect your spedo, your odo, and your milage!

You need to look into some 15" tires though, sorry.

yea. can't put 14" tires on 15" wheels. unless you mean that you have the wheels to o with those tires also. if so, then you have to make sure the wheels fit.

Yea, if the tires are already mounted on wheels with the 4x100 bolt pattern, it should fit.
