Default When the supercharger is finally released.....

...Im assuming that you'd be able to get a tC from the factory with the charger already on it. My question is, do you guys think that Scion will change the VIN #'s/badge it differently on the tC's with the superchargers because that would cause insurance to rise right? Kind of like Acura's RSX and RSX-S. I havent read any questions like this and Ive really wanted to know the answer. Thanks

No, its going to be dealer installed, or installed at the port- not factory.

true but even so, if your insurance is anything like mine they need to see the buyers order, which lists all things on the car when purchased. if thats how all insurance companies are they will still know its there.

Yeah, I believe no matter what it will only be a dealer/port installed option. If you're worried about the insurance, just hold off and get it installed after you purchase the car. If it's a dealer installed item, the pricing should be the same no matter how you get it.

We've heard it all and its always from a source. Some trd sources say emissions, other trd and scion sources say its a ecu reflash issue with bosch, and even more sources say that it's already through emission and ecu and is a supply problem with larger injectors, and i even heard once that they are having a stage 2 option with a intercooler pushing more psi and higher hp and they are getting that together.

No one knows but the scion tC supercharger team at trd. By the time this is released blitz will have thiers done (no idea if they are planning one they wont return my emails, but its logical since they make a xa and xb supercharger) and that will push more hp then the trd for sure.

*EDIT: hope it doesnt sound nasty is not meant that way.
