Just wanted to get some info on the right tire size for my Xb. I have ordered 18 X 7.5 and was just wondering if I should go with a 225 or 215 X 35? I am going to lower the Xb at the same time the wheels go on it.(1.6ft and 2.0rear) Thanks for the help!!

I used http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to find that 215/35R18's are the best fit as far as keeping your OD right etc.
I used http://www.yokohamatire.com/pdf/paradaspc2.pdf to see that this size fits 7.5 width rims best. So that's your answer. Now, you want to make sure to go with an offset of 32mm-42mm on the wheels, I got that from http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=348
Don't take my word for it though :) But that's what I've found in my research.

go with the 215 if you want it to be flush with the rim. i am runnin 19x8 and i have 225/35 and the tire does not stick out at all. it rreally depends on how you want it to look

Thanks for the feedback. Overall I just want it to look good. I don't really want the tires sticking out on the side but I don't want them to look like the factory bicycle tires that are on there now.

if i were you, i would go with the 40 or 45 series 215/40/18 or 215/45/18. I have the 35 series pirelli's and they are kinda rough riding, and, the other day, i hit a fat pothole and totally blew one of my tires bcuz of the small sidewall. it was 145$ to replace that S.O.B. I think if i had the 40's or 45's it woulda been ok. Not to mention, the 45's will fill up your wheelwell more and make it look like u got bigger rims  I have the 2" drop and i still got some wheelgap :?

225 will be the ideal width tire for that size rim for most tires, but 215 will be fine as well.
I think youll find either will look just fine.
base your decision on cost and how much you care about the speedo/odo reading as close to stock as possible.

Well, I am sad to say I ordered the tires in 215-35-18 before reading the last few suggestions. The good thing is they look great on the Xb and the ride is not that bad either. Hopefully soon I can have some pics up and get some of everyones opinion. Thanks to everyone who helped even though I still ordered the 215's.
