Ok, so I've had my Xb for a month, and XM for a year. I usually use the XM radio at home beacuse I'm not on the road that much, and I didn't want to modify my prior car (a Buick Century) to put the XM antenna in. But now I'm thinking the back hatch of the XB might be a great place to lead the antenna out, and mount it just above the hatch door on the roof. Any thoughts on how I might lead the wire out? I kind of hate to go under the weather stipping, and I really don't want to make any holes in the interior or exterior. Any creative ideas, fellow XB'ers?

Look up the installation guide for the oem unit. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

u can probably run the wire above the hatch door (i cant really put it into words.. But wire should be able to fit thru and not interfere when you open and close the hatch door. Probably like 1/2 inch of wire would be exposed.

I have the XM on the xB. I'll take some pics tomorrow (it's too dark now) The wire was run along the headliner along the passenger side and down the A-Piller and down to the HU. The antenna is mounted in the top center of the roof, just in front of the hatch. I can get you the Scion install instructions if you like, just PM me.
