Default for those of you with painted interiors

i want to paint my interior and just from looking around this is what i gathered:

you need a primer, then the paint, and then a clearcoat. most people used VHT brand paints. does VHT make all 3 steps? and then you also need to sand between steps correct?

You should PM n2htwlz, he painted my interior about 2 months ago and no problems as of yet and it is HOT in AZ. He may be able to give you some pointers. Good luck.

I bought all my supplies from www.paintscratch.com. I wanted it to match the body color so I figured I might as well get the good stuff while I was getting the color.

Sand
Primer
Sand
Paint
Clear
Buff
Wax
Enjoy

save a step and get single stage paint. it has the clear in it. when it dries the clear comes up to the surface. did it in my xB about 10 months ago with no problems.

A lot of that console comes apart in pieces. What he could not take apart he taped.
