Default Ingen CAI...Gas Mileage?

I just installed my CAI, it took me about 45 mins without taking out the front bumper off...At first, I just installed it as a Short Ram...It sounded loud as hell which I loved...I noticed the gain instanly...shortly after I installed it as the full CAI...now its not as loud but you can still feel the difference. So if you want the loud sound and the whistle...I suggest to keep it short ram. The reason that i'll keep it CAI is because thats what I paid for,but other than that...I love the Ingen CAI...it just sucks up Gas like its cool.

Question: How much miles to a full tank is everyone getting with their CAI.

Your gas mileage should increase if you drive conservative, decrease if you punch it all the time. Less restrictive air flow will make your car more efficient, but pumping in air faster also means more gas in the mix.

the injen intake seem to be getting pretty good mileage after a few weeks also. i got around 300 miles on city highway mix on less than 12 gallons,(around 25mpg) and that includes going fast whenever i felt like it. it seeems about the same mileage range, but maybe would go up if i didnt floor it so often, and its fun to floor it.

I know this is going to sound pretty stupid, but I am interested in getting the Injen intake system. My question is, is it loud or does it sound almost stock when driving normally? Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of an attached intake, but I would like for it to sound as stock as possible without it sounding to ricey. Thanks!
