i tried lookig for the dimensions for the stock tires of the tc but i couldnt find them..could anyone help. thanks.

oh ok thanks. so if i were to say buy 17x8 wheels for my tc vs buying 17x9..whats the difference..what does the last number mean..and will it still fit into the stockt 17'' tires? thanks for the help..still new to all this

 

The second number is the wheel width and you shouldn't have any problem fitting your stock tires onto a 1' wider wheel. If a wheel fits your T/C also depends on the offset.and tire combonation. Do a search on this Forum and you will find lots of threads.

 

My stock tire was 23.9" tall. It was a 185/60R15. My new tire is 23.9" tal and its a 215/40R17. Stock JDM tire is about 24.3" tall with it being a 185/65R15.
