whats the widest set up that someone has or has heard of on an xb?

biggest ive seen is 18x8.5 18x9.5 im not sure on offsets though
id assume in the area of a 30 or 35 in the front and maybe a 15 in the rear?!

With or w/o camber? W/o camber, the widest I've seen is 9 in. It also depends on your drop and tire size. Now, with crazy camber (edit: and/or crazy fender mods ), you can go crazy wide.

just curious to know if a 18x8 wheel 40offset with a 215/40 with goldlines will fit my xb? and will it rub? im currently running 18x7.5 42 offset with the 215/40 and i only rub when my front wheels are fully turned.... any help will be greatly appreciated...

I know that the Fabulous bB runs 18X8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear, with an 18mm offset.

I couldn't tell you if they would rub or not, but the 8" with 40mm offset will extend an extra 4mm closer to the struts and 8mm closer to the fender then over the 7.5 at 42mm.

ok doke. i planned on running 17x8.5 +25 in front and 17x9.5 +25 in the rear.

18x9.5 front and 18x11 rear.
