Is it ok to drive with the valve cover off? please dont flame on this question.


and NO IM NOT TALKIN ABOUT THE BLACK ENGINE COVER LOL! im talkin about the slab of metal under it. im only asking this question because i was to get it powercoated or something similar to that because i like the way that looks over the stupid black thing.

No it is not ok. Either don't drive the car while it's being powder coated (obviously attaining a back up vehicle) or simply do not send it out. It's really not something you can do with the motor.
