Megan Racing header with cat ? SES Sound wise

Default Megan Racing header with cat ? SES Sound wise

Does any one have this header does the cat cut down on the rasp much ?
would it sound decent with my exhaust ?

Megan doesn't make the header with a cat anymore. It's just a straight through design. They stopped making them with the cat since the cats blew out and they make the race header only.

Is there any other header that will sound decent with my setup,

Any one have sound clips with a SES with a header ? If Possible I would like to keep the stock mid pipe

I had the megan (both Versions) with a weapon r intake and no exhaust and I had no rasp at all, and now with the megan exhaust my car is loud as hell

For those that are throwing a CEL and dont want to pay for a O2 sim card or do an antifouler. What I did was since I installed my catless megan racing header I was still throwing the same CEL. Well this time I had an OBD2 reader and it said that I wasnt getting the right emissions or something from the engine. What I did was I went to my local mechanics and had him drill a slot for the O2 sensor(the bottom one mind you) on the pipping AFTER the last Cat. I then took my OBD2 and erased the error code. Hasn't returned since been 300 miles now. Hope this helps.
