Default injen CAI owners......injen CAI to SR question

so i decided to purchase the injen cai for my car..

question is...for those of you that have the intake coverted to the SR...is there any rattling or severe rubbing? judging from pictures, it seems like the filter is tucked in way too close to the fender wall...any risk of damage to the filter?

just thought i'd ask before i dish out the dough,

the filter actually does seem to rub a little it because of house it tucks underneath by the fender wall. i have emailed injen about this problem and they haven't gotten back to me yet. i hope they will and i will post their response if i get one.
i might just end up going with weapon R it looks like it fits better.

The filter does not cause any type of rattling noise or serve rubbing (at least not on mine). you may get a few scratches here and there but nothing that will damage the filter.

I installed the sri first because i was itchin' to do something with the cai and only had the time to do that at like 8pm after dark. It was really tight, but since i wasnt using the rubber gasket/strip they give you to wrap the hole where the cai goes thru the fender wall i just slid that on the fender edge in the engine bay to stop it from scratching/bending the mesh on the filter. I then installed the cai a couple days later when i had some daylight to remove the wheel and bumper.
