Came home today to find a large bulky orangeish bubble envelope in my mail box addressed from Scion HQ!!! I opened it in a hurry to find Solar Yellow Touch-up Paint!!!!! SWEET!!!!

Also along with a letter that read:


"Thank you for your recent purchase of a Scion Release Series model. You've joined a special group of individuals who own a truely limited production vehicle. In order to help you keep your RS looking as good as new, we have created a special Release Series touch-up paint for your Scion. Please accept this complimentary bottle of touch-up paint as a token of Scion's appreciation........."

I got mine at the dealership when we bought the car.....

 

Got mine tonight. I almost through it away as the box was labeled RS 1.0.

 

Got my touchup paint in the mail Monday. I also almost threw it away as the box said RS 1.0 . Glad I kept it. Front vailance got swiped by an idiot on a riding mower Sat. at our family reunion. Left 2 black streaks. Am hoping I can buff them off.

 

Yeah, the RS 1.0 threw me off too. Glad i actually opened the box!

 

Hopefully Scion/Toyota isn't hiding anything about the integrity of the paint that we would need touch-up bottles. I doubt there is; its just out of the ordinary to have companies giving stuff for "free".

 

got mine too today, with it marked rs 1.0. I was like wtf until i opened it to see it was yellow and said 2.0 on the actual bottle........cheap asses

 

I havent recieved anything from Scion. well now i will be looking out for it then

 

It does chip very easily.

 

I haven't received any touch up paint yet. but maybe I will in the next few days.

 

havent gotten mine...hope soon though...i got a chip on tha front lip...which waz there when i got tha car from tha dealer...
