Default Wouldn't start!

My xB has just under 15,000 miles on it and I went to start it and it would turn over but not start! The battery was charged because the interior/exterior lights worked and also the sirius satelite radio. So damn annoyed, I bought a new car and a toyota so crap like this doesn't happen. Luckily I can walk to my job. Anybody else have the same problem?

It's an automatic.

Still waiting to get the box from the dealer, been driving the loaner Corolla LE...a nice car, but the inside is to damn cramped. In one evening I banged my head on the left side a few times just driving around and backing up and what not. I am too used to the xB's interior space.

Its funny that your's didnt start. I just got my car back this morning from Hollywood Scion. I was having rough idle ,hard starts, and the car would turn off after a few min. Also the check engine lights were on as well as the vsc and trac light. The paper work states that they cleaned the MAF. I've only had the car for 3 months. I wonder if your having the same problem?

Yes...but it made him feel as though he was helping. You know, like how hitting the elevator button 10 times makes it arrive faster.

Hehe...

I've been noticing my xB is starting to struggle on low idles with my intake on...maybe I need to clean my filter..

I've driven about 15,000 miles on it and 6000+ was with the intake... should I clean now?

In general I like to look at my filter at every oil change. If your filter is black (assuming you have a white or pinkish filter) then yeh i would go and buy a filter recharger kit and clean that bad boy up. Their pretty cheap about 15 bucks at autozone.

Source for this? A recall, or a TSB?
