Wet weather tires for tC
So it seems pretty clear from all the commentary I've been reading that that stock Potenzas are pretty poor tires in wet conditions.
I've already ordered snow tires and rims for my tC, so I'm not worried about winter driving. As for the rest of the year, I'll be riding my motorcycle whenever the weather's decent. So the only time I'll be using my Scion is in the wet, and occasionally on long road trips when it doesn't make sense to take the bike. So I'm thinking it would probably be a good idea to replace the Potenzas with a tire that's more oriented to wet-weather performance.
Anyone have any suggestions? (Using the stock 17" rims.)
For my snow tires I went (as always) with Nokian Hakkapeliittas, which are among the best snow tires you can buy. I noticed that Nokian also makes summer tires with a focus on wet traction; anyone know how these stack up against the Goodyears and Dunlops and Michelins and Pirellis of the world?
Thanks in advance...
