Default what kind of rims...

what kind/brand of rims are on the black xB in the screen saver picture on the home page?? i used the search function but nothing.

by the way i love this site!! i just got my xB as my irthday present from my wife sat 09/24/05. i have tinted the windows and want to get rims, exhaust and maybe an intake. i luv the rims on that black one in the screen saver pic. i want 18X8 but am having different opinions on tire size. Some people say 225/40-18 and others say 225/35-18?? i want the most tire i can get with out rubbing. I do not plan to lower the car as it will be replacing my 01 suburban that i am now going to do full show. Any advise, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am in the whittier area of so cali if there are any other xB owners who would like to chat/meet to exchange ideas. Anyone intersted can reach me via email at devus1@gmail.com. thanks

Moved to T&B.

What do you mean by screensaver picture? Are you talking about this one?

No, not at all. It's beacause of two things: maybe 90 percent of readers never post. And of those who have read this question of yours no one has any answer ready yet. But some help will come.

(this topic is outside my understandings)

Welcome to the Scion life.

Here are some similar wheels..not exact though, but also not as much as $600 a rim. More like 300 or so a rim..hehe

Hi all,

I am also in need of help and suggestions.

I am shopping for Springs and wheels at this time and was wondering what would be the best setup for 18's and 19's. I am doing it all at one time, wheels and springs, what would be the best size wheels and offsets for both 18 and 19's. tire size and spring combo. also will I need spacers. I am trying to avoid rubbing. and them 19's looks awesomely good! just want to get the right stuff and not regret any wrong doings.

If you have pics please post them or post your suggestions.

Thanks in advance

i'm thinking of going with these:

in a 18X7.5 with a 225/40-18
these are other wheels but i heard these are kinda cheap on the chrome:

these only come in 18X8 so i hope they fit with out rubbing? any suggestions on tire sizes with those rim sizes??
