I was wondering the same thing. How is the other battery wired? Is it connected to the stock battery or is it just run by itself?

I have a total of 3 batteries. All three are from Scosche, 1 is a 1700ca which sits underhood, then 2 925ca batts sit nicely under the passanger seat. I am not using an isolator, I just have all the batts wiring in parallel.

Like I said before, I will post pics soon.

I always heard you need to have the batteries stored away from the cabin because they can release toxic fumes and gasses....

did you upgrade your alternator? Added another one? I hope you did one or the other. The stock alternator is not made to put out enough power to run the vehicle and recharge all of those batteries. Adding batteries is great if you listen to the system with the car off.

I hope that you mean that you are going to buy a larger one. If you have your stock alt. rewound to create more power, not a good idea. The case is made to handle the output power that is has from the factory. It will overheat if it is rebuilt. They can make it have about 5% more power without a problem, but that is not worth the money that you would spend. I would suggest looking around online for higher output alt. One company that I know of is Ohio generator.
How much power are you running in your system? What kind of amps do you have? Do you have a capacitor/ mutiple caps?

right now i have nothing im my car because i got rid of my subs and took out my current amp and 1 farad cap. im going to be running a single 15 and giving it around 1200 watts or so, not sure on my other amp or amps for mids and highs yet and going to either run a couple of extra batteries or a couple of bat caps not sure yet. all of my wiring is going to be 1/0 in cluding grounds and have already done the big three upgrade and added and optima yellow top.
