What I wanted was not available off the lot - my dealer brought it in from a dealer in another state.

I live near Pittsburgh, with a Scion dealer only 4 miles away, but I drove 100 miles to Cleveland to get mine. The local dealer didn't want to provide the car I ordered, and I believe he had second thoughts about the trade-in offer he made. So I went to a dealer that had a camo 5-speed and bought it there. Very good decision.

I didn't enjoy the double-talk and mystery surrounding ordering the car locally. I notice, 6 months later, that this dealer still doesn't stock more than maybe 6 Scions at a time - that's xA, xB, and tC altogether. Just weird.

If I had to buy a second one, I'd go back to Cleveland.

My first xB, I bought if off the lot. Though I have wait 3 days and return it to the dealer due that they were waiting for the shipment for the CD Player. So I drove it w/ no tunes for three days

My second one, have to wait one week, the dealer beg me to hold my xB for a car show thats happening over the weekend, (I already put a down payment) but they did gave me some extra stuff for waitin.

Just got the call from my dealer this morning that my car is in!!!

It's been about four weeks. (But considering I was originally told it'd be 6-12 weeks, I'm not complaining.)

WesKBob,

Which dealership did you purchase it from? What color did you get? I have a BSP on order from Bob Howard Scion since Sept 12. They didn't make me put anything down. It's been a good 4 weeks.

If mine takes that long I will go crazy. My dealer told me the standard 4-6 weeks and it has only been two...two long, slow weeks.

I really hope it comes sooner that later as I am totally car-less right now

2.5 months from one dealer because they couldn't get the camo, then I cancelled and went to another dealer and they got one to me in 1.5 weeks (good timing mostly). Glad I waited for the camo.

I'm getting mine from Dub Richardson (one of the sales reps there is a friend of mine from church). Originally he told me 6-12 weeks so it could have been well into December. I'd told him I'd take TCM or, if it would be into December, I'd just wait and have the first Salsa Red in OK. But he called me about a week later and said he'd found a TCM that was on the way over that hadn't been spoken for yet. Just got lucky there.

This poll really needed a "more than six weeks" option for those of us that live in the hinterlands.

thanks for the info WesKBob....Salsa Red would be nice, but geez that's another freaking long wait arrrgggh. suffering withdrawels definitely option for still waiting in the poll, my salesman at Bob Howard says he thinks it will be in this month....i don't like the word think....he needs to know if it will be or not. I hate the anticipation, because i am impatient....:D
