Hey Guys...we live in the Springs and every year there's a mini festival of lights parade down Tejon Street (downtown) where everyone go to freeze their butts off...

Anyways, we were thinking it'd be fun if we entered in our cars and drive down this strip...then we can all go to the hot springs and thaw out afterwards or get drunk (cuz that's what we do best!)

It's too late to make a phone call,...but Jeff said that the last day to enter in the parade is the 4th (friday!) If you guys are interested let me know and I'll give the guy a call tomorrow morning.

Count us in. I can also post this on our website. Just send me the time and date for this years parade as soon as you get it. I will also let everyone with Scion Fusion know. I am sure we can get some more people to go. This sounds like fun.

SooooOOo...I gave the guy a call, told him that we were nonprofit car club...that we don't just hang out, but we try to do community service as a group. Anyways,...the entry form is due tomorrow AND there's a $100 fee to enter. And its the parade of lights...so we'll have to somehow decorate our cars with christmas lights or something snazzy (Chipper, you should dress up as Santa Claus!)

So I need to know soon if you guys really want to do this, if we get 10 cars, that $10/person. Sign up only if you're serious because I will be collecting $10 from people who signed up!!

The Event is on December 4th, 2004 at 5:00pm - 9:00pm. We cannot be late (!!)

I hope you still want to go to this event, I found out that it is on Dec 3,05 Saturday. Let us know if you still want to go. We may not be able to be in the parade, but we can still show up and show our support.

Hey everyone, this has to be figured out today by 3pm or its not gonna happen...

Jules has already offered to put up the $100, but we need 9 people to pay back $10 towards this. Even if you don't come end up coming, you still need to put up the $10.

This would be a great event and I would love to see all our boxes lined up w/ lights, stolling downtown for the X-Mas parade. We need at least 9 xB people by 3pm today that are sure they will be there or this isn't gonna happen. Let us know!!!

This is it, the 21 year of the Festival of Lights Parade, the parade to beat all parades! Don’t miss this chance of a lifetime. 100,000 spectators will crowd the street to watch 3,000 participants put on a dazzling display of lights, sounds and performances. And more than twice that watching the parade on KRDO either broadcast live that night or a re-broadcast throughout the season. Bands, floats, horses and all kinds of special entries compete for top honors in their class.

For the second year, we will have additional entertainment, bleacher seating, musical performances and show of lights. Join our presenting sponsor El Pomar Youth in Community Service (EPYCS) in making this an event to remember.

Space is limited; we will be forced to turn many applicants away, therefore, it is important to get your applications in early. The deadline for submission is November 5, 2005.

Sorry guys, it didn't seem like there was enough people interested in this event, so I decided not to turn in the application. Oh wells, maybe next year. However you guy are all still invited to come and watch the parade.
