New Camo in my Driveway!
It was a great day. About a week ago, I had my wife travel to all the Scion dealers within 50 miles of us (3) to find an xB. Nobody had any in stock but all would order one.
We have (had) a 1999 Lincoln Continental to trade in. Since Scoin has "pure pricing", the trade was the only negotiation, as well as dealer fee. At the 3rd dealer she visited, we got full asking price for our trade and their dealer fee was $80 less than the first dealer and $280 less than the other!
We put a deposit on a Camo xB that was due in 11/18. It got here a week early and is now in our driveway!
First driving impressions:
Has more power from a red light than I expected.
Engine RPM is only 3000 RPM at 75 MPH, less than I thought it would be. I was afraid it would be "buzzy". It is not, which is nice.
There is almost as much backseat room as her Continetal.
We're think we've made the right decesion. We didn't sacrafice interior roominess for fuel mileage and besides, the kids can't wait till Mom drives them to school in it so their friends can see the cool car Mom's got!
