Guys I need a good track wheel. I'd like the diameter to be 15-16", but 7"-8" wide. Does anyone know of anything like this that will fit a TC? Thanks guys.

DuMa 12-10-2005, 04:46 PM look for celica aftermarket wheels. the offset might not look right but it should be able to fit and work. i know a lot of em have 16x7, 16x8 aftermarket wheels that fit their cars. and in theory, they should fit our cars. Tamago 12-10-2005, 06:40 PM who cares if it's celica aftermarket wheels lol.. find 5X100 .. wheels are pretty damn universal. aoshi12345 12-10-2005, 07:21 PM Small at fat...sounds like my dick The_Instigator 12-10-2005, 07:36 PM Small at fat...sounds like my dick LOL...I though it was about somebody's mom But yeah the SSR comp is a good choice for a lighweght track wheel..theres also Enkei racing wheels which are light and stronger than the SSRs. The RPF1s in 15" sizes are under 10 lbs and in 16" sizes they are about 13lbs. Great racing wheel desingn used on Mclaren F1 cars and very popular in the Speed World Challenge series and Grand Am cup. Personally I agree that you should look for a 17" wheel as there is excellent tire selection in that size. Tamago 12-11-2005, 07:39 AM i'm becoming afraid that "track" means "drag" David_Seale 12-12-2005, 05:44 AM rota slipstreams.... 16x8. and you dont have to spend an arm and a leg like you would for the ssr's. -Keith- 12-12-2005, 01:38 PM and there not a good race wheel... friend has cracked quite a few Tamago 12-12-2005, 06:04 PM i would strongly recommend AGAINST rota for anything but ricing around.. schwettynuts 12-12-2005, 06:58 PM steelies and fat tires sound good to me. hahaitzskippy 12-12-2005, 11:36 PM why not stick with 17" rims. i really tink the 17's for track is perfect. sidewall isnt to big nor is it to small. and for you people with bigger brakes too, the 17s fit that stuff... chubster41 12-12-2005, 11:59 PM what about Motegi Trak_Lite? I personally like those..but I believe they only come in black...in my case thats what Im doin.. Tamago 12-13-2005, 09:46 AM good wheel, but way too expensive for what you really get IMO.. i mean, motegi hasn't really proven themselves to be that great of a wheel company.. sure sure, teh trak-lite is forged, but does that make up for the 22lb 15" motegi MR7's of 1999? (i jest..) schwettynuts 12-13-2005, 12:07 PM when he said Track probably he meant drag racing track. So probably he wants small rims with fat soft tires. |
