Does any one know if any company makes Cam Shafts and Cam Gears for the xB? I want to go NA not forced induction. Can any one help me out.

well uh since we have chain driven cams cam gears are not going to be out there.

and no one makes cams. crane cams will do regrinds for 95.00 per cam . hope u have a good idea as to what a nice profile for this motor will be

 

This is pretty much the route im taking depending upon the gains from ZPI's turbo or any other f/i.

If you want a decent n/a 1nz do this:
intake
header
exhaust
zpi head
11:1 pistons (zpi)
regrind cams
fuel inject.
greddy e-manage ulti.
shorter throttle cable
get some custom gears, closer not further spread out
light weight crank
engine damper

now, of course you can talk about swapping ecu's. no successful swaps, and good luck re-programming our 64bit. (pain, hard to reprogram correctly, and 90% of the time will cause problems...not many people can do this for you sucessfully and correctly)

Now, after this do some weight reduction. Could do CF hood and hatch, could take out spare tires, and motor for rear wiper and other ins and odds still keeping it daily-able. There are other things you can do, but as far cams go..no swaps, no upgrades. Although, i do beleive someone attempted to swap to 1zz cams, i'm not sure how that worked out for him though. Never heard anything else about it.

Also, try searching as well. Unless mods did away, we have tons of n/a and f/i threads on xa/xb. Also motor swaps.
