I had the hotchkis front sway bar installed the other night and on the way home the car started making this hissing noise.
My question is do the manifolds on these cars warp?
The sound is either coming from the manifold or the bottom side of the throttle body.
Has any one else encountered this problem before.
It is driving me mad!!

i'm having the same problem i just installed it the other day and now it's making the hissing sound near the intake manifold i need help with this also because it's driving me crazy as well....

I'm at a loss as how installing a sway bar would cause a intake manifold leak. Your
working under the car and no where near any vacuum lines in the engine compartment.

if you have a header.....??? which manifold are you talking about? intake?

 

sounds like a vacuum leak?
