Introduction
Hey all!
I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself on here. I just bought my xB back in December (on my b-day, truth be told). It's an '04, black/black. I love black cars, though I hate trying to keep them clean.
This is the first car I've owned that I have actually wanted to learn about and learn to improve its performance. My previous vehicles were just to get from here to there. I absolutely love this car. I am anxiously awaiting my first mods and then to take a performance driving school.
I haven't posted yet, but I have been reading a lot and learning a lot. This forum has pretty much become my end-all for Scion information. I like that the group is pretty easy going as well, from what I have seen so far.
For my first mods, I was thinking about either upgrading the springs to Tien S-Techs or H&R's. A buddy has recommended to me the Eibachs. I don't want to drop it too much, just stiffen the handling. My other option (for now) is simply to do wheels & tires. I am going to get the Khumo ECSTA SPT tires, but haven't decided on a wheel set yet.
Thanks for your time, and ANY advice is welcome. I am a car noob and therefore a Scion noob.

You must be initiated into the world of SCION MODIFICATIONS by installing a CABIN AIR FILTER into the filter tray that is behind your glove box. Scion sells it's cars with NO FILTER in this tray. Don't buy one from the dealer for $22, go to advanced or autozone and pay $12. OR make one yourself after you read all about how to pop off your glove box to access the empty filter tray, in the TECH thread called Fabricate your own Cabin Air Filter. Why? Well to eliminate all that dust that ends up on your dash board and everywhere else. It helps if you are alergic as well.
Post up photos, update your profile (if you really own one) and stop drulling.
