Default first accident-is unibody repair reliable?

I'm inexperienced but I thought that unibody was comparable to frame in other cars, I was hit in the back passanger side and the estimate comes back with unibody repair. Is my little xbox hurt for life?

It depends on the damage but most likely hurt for life.

If the bodyshop does a good job though you wont notice any differences at all though.

Yeah it is hurt for life.

Take it to Bradford street and burn it. Then get yourself another car.

Unibody's shift on impact and no machine can undo the damage. At first it will seem fine, but put on a few miles and you'll hear creaking, window seals would lose their tightness, etc.

See if you can't get it deemed totalled...

I would not say totaled. I work on cars and do a lot of body work. I actually restored 3 scions. It all depends on who works on it and if they fix it right. What they replace, etc.. Email me a picture or post it up and I will be happy to help anyway that I can. Good luck with the car.

A good bodyshop... No problem.
Shop around, walk through and see how and what they're working on.
