Default Interior LED

So i know i should've gone with a Blue neons/LED color instead of Green but idk.no one has green, lol(blue is illegal btw isn't it lol ;) so would the interior be better off sticking with the stock orange display and just throwing green cathodes or LEDS inside....just wondering

Ehhh, blue interior LED's are not illegal if not seen for the most part outside the vehicle. On the outside, blue/red is frowned upon, but many people still run them...we do with no hassles. You just have to be wise when and where you turn them on.

Replace the amber colors if you can....if you are trying for a color theme. If not, it might look like a circus inside your car.

Yes, you will find more blue products usually...but that means everyone else is running them too.

grr, I already am doing green on my FM because no one else was. If you want photos, click on my Car Domain link in my sig. I have green LED's in the Cup holders, green CCFL's under the dash, and will be doing Green and white LED's for the gauges and center console.

Well my intentions are to do it all in green. The dome light is white, the map lights are UV but rarely on. The dash and center consoles are getting converted to green, and the bright blue light is for the Passport hard wire unit, which when there's an alert, a yellow light flashes, making green all over. :D

Don't worry about the legality, I doub't you'd get in trouble for interior lights unless they are mounted on the headliner or something. But then, they'd be too distracting to drive with anyways.

Remember, it is legal unless you're caught =)

Don't worry about matching the interior to the exterior unless you are going to regularly sit around with your lights on and your doors open. Pick whatever is appealing to you. Personally I like the green.

If the interior lights are far enough below the windows from being seen they are not illegal. As long as no one else besides anyone who is in the car can see them, then they are not illegal.
