Default is any other company in development of sway bars?

well im just wondering because the market has been kinda quiet for this item. seems like a lot of companies should be jumping in since its relatively cheap for the consumer and adds a lot of bang to the buck.

i was hoping cusco or someone else would come in and offer another sway bar option.

as far as i know only 3 companies make aftermarket sway bars: TRD, Hotchkis, and Progress. Well trd is actually a rebadged progress bar just in 2 settings rather than 3 for the progress.

i feel the hotchkis is too thick/stiff, not to mention it has some rubbing problems with some coilovers apparently. i feel the trd/progress isnt stiff enough.

My hotchkis doesn't rub. Toan's has shifted to off-center. Just FYI.

i got Hotchkis sway bars and love'em. set on stiffest settings, body roll is very minimal.

as you mentioned, the sway bars will only rub on cars w/ coilovers. i fixed this problem by buying '03 Camry sway links (which are shorter than the tC's, but retain the same thickness).

i've had these installed for 4 months and i drive my tC pretty hard every now and then (esp. around winding back roads). so far, everything is fine...no rubbing. i got pics if you want to see. it would be nice to see if Cusco develops sway bars though...

btw, nice pic of hyori

Hopefully I'll be able to get my Hotchkis sway bars before April or May or so and get them on before AutoX. THEN I'll let you know if there's any rubbing. I also have Hothckis springs and if anything is going to make those sways rub, it's autox.
