Default Engine managment for F/I

For low boost levels what is the best fuel managment? Safc? Blue Emanage? Unichip?

Are there pros and cons to every system? if so could someone explain them?

I heard that the blue emmange has some p[roblems because the ecu learns and compensate for it is safc better?

for ECU questions.

ZPI's stage 0 runs no engine management with their low boost, the stock ECU seems to adjust fine.
SoundPerformance was able to use the SAFC sucessfully, but they wont share how they did it just yet..
Emanage works well for now.
Unichip is expensive and you need to take it to a unichip tuner to get it tuned $$$.

safc is by far the easiest to use, but then again, you should not be the one playing around with settings anyway. Leave that to the pro's. In any case, the safc is also the least powerful tool of the bunch, in that in can only modify a/f ratios, while the others can control timing as well as a host of other optional functions. And, the safc has had issues with our cars as well, throwing cel's. It seems the unichip works well with the tC, although the higher price tag and the limited availability of tuners make an otherwise excellent tool a little less appealing. Emanage, I heard of it having some issues, but I have a feeling that comes down to the way it was set up than anything else. But I can't say I know much about it anyways.

i would never use SAFC. has no way of advancing timing and only tunes out a/f. even then, its only "tricking" the ecu, which will be not good for the long run since the stock ecu will always try to get it back to a 14.7 a/f.

SoundPerf says they adjust timing by fooling the computer w/ fuel pressure I believe. They have that sweet return fuel setup.

The problem with the S-AFC is more that it can't retard timing under boost which is almost mandatory when boosting an N/A car. The Emanage and Unichip allow you to do this although the Unichip has been more reliable at doing it during testing by Turbonetics.
