I just ordered a set of 18" Speed Star D5R wheels with 225/40WR-18 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 tires. Got a great price from Tire Rack, they were closeout price so I couldn't pass 'em up. I'll try and post pics when I get them on.
here's a pic of the wheels from some website:

Ok, got some pics....yeah and I alredy know I'm in need of a tripod.

$199 each for 18x8?!?!?!
thats almost 50% off
bump for tirerack.
did you get a 50mm offset as listed on tirerack? if so good thing you'll have money saved for spacers. 15mm front and 20mm rear will push those bad boys out nicely (although i'd go 20 front/25 rear for some flushness). without spacers the wheels may rub against the front suspension (they'll extend inward 17mm over stock)
i fell in love with D5R's after seeing this.....

Ok, there on. Fit just fine, no rubbing. Just gotta let my girlfriend let me use her camera...or get her to take pics. On a side note, I noticed the car pulling to the side on the highway, sometimes right, sometimes left. I figured it was due to the tires 'tracking' but decided to have the dealership check the alaignment just to be safe. They said they couldn't do it due to the different size wheels. Anyone heard of this before?
here's a quick pic I took tonight. I know it's crappy...I'll get better ones (the whole car) after I get a chance to clean it up, weather's been poopy here.

Thats a S14 with a S15 front conversion (although the headlights are the only oem parts).
Regarding the alignment, my local dealer wouldnt guarantee the alignment specs since i had aftermarket wheels. so i took it to a wheel/tire shop.
