Default Buy tC from classified ads a good idea?

I was thinking that if I could get a used tC for much less than getting a new one, would it be a wise idea? I don't know about warranty and all that other stuff, but do you guys think that its a good idea to get a used tC with 20,000 miles or less on it? I was browsing through ebay and there was one for $13,000. What are your opinions about getting a used tC?

id suggest spending the couple of grand extra and buying a new one. this way you know you broke the car in right, and what you have and havent serviced.

word. if you're going to buy a $13k car, might as well buy it brand new for an extra 4-5 grand. less troubles...

unless you want to make it your project car and want to fix stuff and add aftermarket stuff...

Fact: You're wrong. I've been using eBay for 6 years and my wife and I have over 600 successful transactions. Many of them very expensive items.

Like anything else, you need to do your homework, but I strongly disagree with your warning.

When buying an automotive on ebay ur at a risk. This is not a video game, TV, or etc that ur dealing with.

If I were you look at ur local autotrader or if u come down to ur last resort look at ur local dealership. I have notice some 05 trade in's as well as 06's at my local dealership.

Exactly.
Also, use feedback - it's a great tool. If someone has thousands of transactions with 100% (or close) positive feedback, you can be fairly secure knowing it's a good person/dealer.
Also, I send lots of emails, ask lots of questions, and ask for more pix.
You can have very good experiences on eBay.

Not sure what they will ask and what rims will be on it but would be an award wining car to start with.

If you're interested, my RS1.0 is for sell and I'm only asking for what I owe, plus mods that were made for the car. Let me know
