Recently I just put Groundfusion.com's grounding wires on my Xb. Installation was beyond basic with the dumby proof instructions, they even had pictures of how to do it. I could tell right from the minute I was finished installing them that 1. my headlights, tv moniotrs were brighter 2. idling was easier and smoother, 3. Downshifting become sounding less hard on the engine, 4. Horespower and throttle responce become more efficent and 5, my gas miledge went up about 1 or 2 mphs. I think everyone whose looking for a inexpensive engine upgrade should pick a pair of these up.

Why not just make your own, with some 4guage wire and some ring terminals. Just my opinion, but it does help with the electronics in the car.

I bought the same groundfusion kit and there was no noticeable difference. Not to say that there was no difference but i couldn't tell. Took them off.

 

Yup, I've tried two different wire kits (one hooked in series and one hooked up in parallel)... haven't noticed any difference. Gonna take them off.

 

Well, I'm am reading mixed results. But is is logical that having less resistance by better grounding could make the electronics work better. I am going to go with the DIY route.

If you ever read that thread titled "An attempt at 24whp, normally aspirated" you would have an appreciation for how well engineered and tuned the xB/xA is. Do you think Toyota screwed up with something so cheap as the ground wires?
