Default Sirius Antenna Placement?

Has anyone installed their own sirius receiever? I just bought a Kenwood KDC-MP528 HU and a Kenwood Sirius Receiver to wire into the trunk, but Im not sure where to stick the antenna. Usually the back edge of the roof would be best, but its glass so the magnet will not stick?

I put mine on my glass (above the hatch) and so far no problem. I used emblem adhesive and weighted it down while the adhesive dried. I have been through multiple car washes and no problem yet. Before doing that, I did search for glass mounted Sirius antennas and found none.

So i ended up mounting mine on the center of my tailgate just below the window glass. It was really easy to run the wire in the weather stripping at the base of the glass and then wired it through to the tuner which is mounted under the carpet on under the drivers seat. The wire is then run under the carpet, to the center console and up to the head unit. Sorry, no pics of during. But I have to take it apart again to do my amp and subs soon, i will try to take pics then.

From what i understand, it is not the same as the antenna and it is placed on the side of the rear fender beside the regular antenna. I was not a fan of that placement and is partially why I did not order the factory Sirius.

I mounted mine on the top of the rear hatch glass. there is a grommet that wiring runs through and i slit that and ran the wire through there. I just used double sided tape to mount it to the glass. haven't had a single problem yet. most sleek looking mount i could find
