Default Question about fitment on new wheels

I am going to get some 17" x 7" 's that don't have an application for the TC but they do for late model celicas and I was wondering if they fit the late model celica wouldn't they fit the TC? The offset is is either 35 or 38 (I don't remember exactly right now) and I am mainly concerned with clearing the calipers. I figure I am ok but I just wanted to get some opinions before I pay.

17x7 is the OEM size. And the offset isn't the OEM size, but should still be just fine without issue.

I figure I should be, I think everything, even the center bore is stock size, except the offset. I just like getting other opinions first, thanks

Its a momo that is no longer available, but I found a dealer that will be able to get them from their warehouse stock. When I get them on, I'll post pics thoigh it might be a while. I kinda want to be the only person with them and I think they are going to look amazing.

Alright I can't get the 17x7 but I might be able to get the 17x8 with 35 offset. Will these fit ok? Also Tirerack.com said that the oem tire size is recommended on the 17x8, is that correct as well?

I run a 17x8 +35 and it fits just fine..you will be good to go with them. The 215/45 stock sized tire will fit, but it you are getting new tires you might want to go bigger. A 235/40 is closest to stock height with a 225/45 being a little taller than stock.

Thanks...yeah, the stock tires seem like they might be a bit stretched on an 8" wide wheel.
