What more features could they possibly put on the car for $16,465? It's already totally loaded. I'm not waiting, Toyota knows their R&D better than anyone. Looking for my Black Cherry Pearl, just 4 more weeks!!

What bugs wil there be to fix? The car is new yes but most of the components are bin parts that have been in service now for a while. The few unique parts arent complicated enough to be issues. It like with my '93 ranger. Yes the 92 was diffrent on the skins but underneath it was MOSTLY the same as the 92. As far as accesories hell who wants stock assecories anyway's? I got the upgraded HU (the thing I realy wanted) and the strut bar because they were included in the RS1 package.the other stuff (spoiler, lights ect) are all cool yea but I wouldnt have paid more for it if it want part of the package. If they come out with something new for '06 modles I'm 99.99% sure it will be backwards compatable. They would really be losing out on a big poteintial market if it wasn't.

depends on how much you really want it. if you can wait,... definitely wait. they're will always be SOME improvement on them, and if not, you can always get a used one for LESS. or you may find another car that you like more?

If you can wait, then wait. That way you will have more money saved for a down payment (less interest which is ALWAYS good) or accessories. Personally, I have the money now and will be giving my Corolla to my son. So I am doing NOW!! :D

Look @ the difference between the 04 & 05 xA & xB. Basically the same. I bet it will be about the same for the tC. Now the RS 3.0 however is a different story :D

First release of anything is more valuable then # 2 or # 3. Any car collector out there knows that.
If sCion stops production of tC after two years. There will be far and few and they will be rare indeed. Watch out car show year 2020, the first scion car produced will be in the showcase.

I'm gonna have to go against this one, you cannot predict classics... that's #1... #2 is that they are making 60,000 units a year... rare?? not even close... I have a '75 Porsche 914 and they brought about 10,000 / year to the states for 1970 to 1976... supposedly there are less than 20,000 left... I might consider this rare, but that is a real stretch... there are 5 in my town...

Of course it's always better to wait......IF that is an option for you. Personally for me, it isn't. If you've got reliable transportation for at least another year, you should consider saving up to be able to make a bigger downpayment, as others on here have said.

yeah you can wait for the 06, however I seriously doubt there will be any signifigent add ons because hell any bolt ons for the 06 can be put on the 05 as well.

The entire point of the Tc is it is Mono spec- that means it comes from the facytory with few options, the only options available is transmition, color, & side airbags.

Everything else is dealer added.

Plus the price might go up.

for all those fans of economics what happens when gas prices rise as they have been? Inflation.

I'd bet that the 2006 Tc will be at LEAST $400 more.

I agree w/ the price increase next year. Typically when a brand new car is offered, the first year they try to keep the price relatively low, after they see how popular the car will be, they will start increasing the price. Just a thought. Since the price is so darn cheap to begin with I would imagine the prices should go up considerably in 2006.

November. Well, that's when I turn 16... I know you might think I'm spoiled but no.. I'm not. I'm the one who is gonna be paying for the car, my parents are only gonna co-sign for me.

It's always better to buy a car during the winter months anyway... because no one else does. Therefore you'll ensure yourself the best deal... or maybe in the case of no hassle scion, at least better service from the staff...

besides if our young friend djimpak here waits until november, maybe he can test drive the supercharged tC... and weep when he realizes he cannot afford it.
